GERMÁN GHOLAMI

Tenor Germán Gholami Torres-Pardo is emerging as a prominent figure in the opera scene, gracing concert and theater stages worldwide. Are there any boundaries to his musical talent? Is there any limit to the tenor from the stars? Germán is a free spirit, his voice unencumbered by gravity's force, and his charisma captivates both aficionados of classical singing and fans of pop music.

Born in Madrid, Spain, in 1985, Germán Gholami (Germán Javier Gholami Torres-Pardo) hails from a family of professional musicians. His father, Ali-Reza Gholami, a multi-instrumentalist and music therapist, provided Germán with his initial violin and flute lessons. Meanwhile, his mother, María Angeles Torres-Pardo Criado, a classical soprano and guitar teacher at the Aranjuez Conservatory, played a pivotal role in shaping his development as a lyric tenor.

Germán Gholami received his music education in Spain at the University of Alcala, attended bel canto master classes with Berle Sanford Rosenberg and Jenni Anvelt-Scarafoni, and furthered his studies under the guidance of Italian tenor Federico Lepre. His journey as a classical tenor commenced at the esteemed Estonian Opera Theatre Vanemuine in 2012. Since then, Germán Gholami has performed in concerts and taken on roles in opera and musical productions across various countries, including Estonia, Italy, Spain, Scotland, Poland, Russia, Finland, South Korea, France, Germany, Denmark and the USA.
